The Process

Step 1: Call Permanent Makeup Med Spa Fort Wayne to book a consultation with Lillian or michael, each are highly trained and experienced. The consultation is complimentary and includes a mini makeover to show you the positive changes that could be done. We take into consideration many factors: face shapes and contours. Where the asymmetry is and how to make the face look more symmetrical. The eyebrows and eyeliner can be shaped to flatter and improve the existing look. Patch test and after-care form are given to you.

Step 2: The application appointment can be anywhere between 1 to 4 hours, depending on what procedure or procedures you have decided on. Prescription-strength topical anesthetics are used to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. If you have someone to drive you home, a prescription pain pill or anti-anxiety medicine may be taken.  Most clients feel the procedures are more uncomfortable rather than painful. Eyebrows, lips, eyeliner are drawn on first until you and your makeup artist feel that they are as perfect as possible. Many things are then taken into consideration, foremost the desires of our clients’ size of the face. Face shapes, symmetry, complexion colors, etc. The client holds a mirror and is in constant communication with the makeup artist. If lips are being done, either full or liner,  Dr. Ueber can do a dental block for $50. And no discomfort is felt.

Step 3: Immediately after permanent makeup is applied, it will appear too dark for approximately a week. Then it will soften and lighten up. We go over after-care instructions and book the follow-up appointment approximately two weeks later. At the follow-up appointment time, if anything else needs to be done, we do it. We make sure our client is totally happy. We can make it warmer, cooler, thicker, thinner, as requested and discussed with the client. One more week of after-care and the client looks their very best,  not part of the time, but all the time!

Step 4: Eventually, the permanent makeup will need to be retouched. The length of time varies with all clients. Some may have some of it forever. Although, it does lighten in time. Some clients choose to have a once-a-year retouch. These retouch prices are less than the original pricing.
