If a client chooses they may take a pain pill or something else to relax them as long as someone is available to drive them. Absolutely no ibuprofen should be taken prior to the application. Applying ice to the area prior to application also will help to numb the area. For lip procedures, dental blocks are available, for greatest comfort.
